Textbook Adoption and Instructional Materials Allotment

The best way to address the many questions and concerns regarding approved materials is to access information directly from TEA.

The TEA web site for Instructional Materials and Educational Technology Division  provides detailed information about textbook/resource/materials adoption.  The links below will take you to TEA's information on Instructional Materials Allotment, and the adoption process.

The Instructional Materials and Educational Technology Division provides state level support and coordination in the review, adoption, and distribution of state approved instructional materials and in the implementation of educational technology in Texas public classrooms.
